Disappointed with the new color scheme

Handy application and I use it regularly, but Im seriously let down by the new light theme. It should have been an option to keep it dark or, at the very least, match the colors to dark or light mode of the Menubar.

I am glad to see the ability to manage more notes and so this is definitely an upgrade, but visually it grates on me now seriously after it looked so nice previously.
